Can a fellow ordinary Filipino people around Mega Manila and all over in the Philippines, whether lower-class or middle-class residence, able to watch the upcoming Sunday noontime musical variety show Party Pilipinas on GMA-7 airing metrowide, nationwide, and worldwide (for fellow Filipino communities), both young and old, just as they watched That’s Entertainment, Germspeyshal, and GMA Supershow in the ’80s and ’90s since then?
Expect that the new show—starting on March 28, 2010—after replacing SOP (Sobrang Okey Pare) that ended last March 7, 2010 would claimed that it would lead over ASAP XV on ABS-CBN (ASAP stands for “All-Star Afternoon Party”), not only in Mega Manila (area that belongs in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal) but also Luzon-wide, Visayas-wide, and Mindanao-wide.
GMA Network management hopes that the show—featuring various GMA-7 artists hosting and/or performing on the new show, including the original casts of SOP such as Ogie Acasid, Regine Velasquez, Janno Gibbs, Kyla, Jay-R, and many others—would be a good vibes of viewing taste. Their main target: all over ordinary Filipino people to enjoy watching TV on the show every Sunday only after going to Church or any catholic or evangelical ministries establishment.
Party Pilipinas will also feature various guessings such as pro dancers, sexy girls group, rock bands, singers, and many others. Mark Bautista, who left ASAP, is also appearing on the show as the performer and hosts.
Let’s see if the new show would lead at last depending on Mega Manila and Nationwide TV audience measurement results everyday, even the people’s desire. Aside from this, GMA-7 analog TV transmitters in the provinces aside from home-bound Metro Manila branch known as “GMA TV Tower of Power” are now in full-blast clear and powerful TV reception after a few years of rehabilitation.
